
Community Leisure-Learn
The Community Leisure-Learn Program was initiated by the University of Pittsburgh over 35 years ago as a community outreach Service Program under its Department of Health and Physical Activity. It is the University’s oldest outreach program to date and was designed to assist local residents optimize their quality of life through improving their overall health and well-being. Located at Trees Hall a number of programs are year round for both youth and adults.
Mission Statement
“ to promote health and well-being across the lifespan through the teaching and study of human movement. More specifically, health and well-being are being promoted through the teaching and study of enhancement of exercise performance; education for wellness and disease prevention; control and learning of movement skills; and stress reduction and relaxation.”
