fitUnited was launched to improve the health of our children by mobilizing and motivating our community. Our two key objectives are to increase physical activity levels and improve nutrition in kids from birth to age 12, and we need caring adults to help us do that.
We’re providing adults with the tools and knowledge to teach kids how to choose and access healthy foods, increase their physical activity, and encourage healthy eating for youth-serving organizations. Last year, fitUnited provided learning opportunities and resources on the importance of healthy foods and physical activity to 300+ partners who serve over 50,000 kids.
Kids of STEEL is an exercise and nutrition program designed to motivate children to pursue quality nutrition and an active lifestyle by incorporating exercise and healthy eating habits into their daily routine. Participants choose one of three training plans (preschool, Kids Marathon or 5K) and works on the appropriate exercise and nutrition goals.
