The PITT’s KIDS program provides instruction in aquatics and games and sports instruction to children ages 3 years – 13 years old. As a developmental program Pitt’s Kids is comprised of two parts: Games and Sports Instruction in the gym and Aquatic Instruction in the pool. All children involved participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities with a focus on progressive skill instruction. The program uses all areas of Trees Hall including the Rock Wall, and the Olympic size swimming pool. We also use the small pool in the back of the Olympic pool which is heated to 82 Degrees.
PITT’s KID’s FALL SESSION: The Fall Session is underway! Look for the next sign-ups for the Spring Session starting at the end of November.
PITT’s KID’s SPRING SESSION: The Spring Session begins in January 13th and ends March 24th. The program will be closed on March 10th for Spring Break. The program is held for 10 Saturdays from 9:45 am – 12 pm at Trees Hall. For more information about the Spring Session Click Here.
PITT’s KIDS SUMMER SESSION: Summer Sessions are held at University of Pittsburgh’s Trees Hall. The kids participate in a wide range of activities both in the pool and in the gym. We focus on developing the whole child in our program. Some of the activities that we do are rock climbing, swimming, diving, martial arts, water-balloon toss, Frisbee, and much more.
